Never heard of the other 2 guys they signed, but who knows one always could be a diamond in the rough.

    He is Robert's son?

Reggie did go to Baylor, so probably.

He caught five passes in six games with the Cardinals the past two seasons.
Maybe he could make the team as the 5th WR.

Robert, for those who don't know, was a running back on the Cowboys from 1972-83.

He threw a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter of the Cowboys Super Bowl 12 victory. What was interesting about that play is that it went beyond the normal trickery. Newhouse rolled out to the left. He was right-handed. Think about that. You rarely see a coach call for a running back to do such a thing.

Nice signing Depth wise, he'll be our 5th CB.

Mickens would be a killer dime or quarter DB.... Dyson is SOMEWHAT prone to injury mickens is a great idea.

Good signing because we needed a vet to help teach the very young secondary we possess.

He will more than likely be the 5th conerback on our roster so for the few people that are bitching over this signing...stop

I like Mickens. Very good nickel or dime corner and very good tackler, both very important qualities if we're running a Bellichick-style defense.

I like the signing, he is a good team player who should help the younglings.

Any one know how much he cost us? Do we still have money to go after a stout DT? and more depth at safety?

exactly, if anything this is a great depth signing, plus after what happened to Mangini last yr in NE. im sure he wants to have a good deal of db's.

and its good to know we shouldnt expect much out of him but know what to expect from him.

I'm not sure why everyone thinks this is just for depth. If Strait doesn't show something in camp this year, the nickel job will be Ray's to lose....

Those guys are fighting over the dime spot.
The loser of the starting battle between Miller and Barrett will be the nickel.
Dyson is a lock to be the other starting CB.

He'll be good for depth and to help the young guys.

At least he doesn't have a penalty named after him, that's good.
