Yes, I know they play in a dome. I also know that the wind can be at your back for half the game and in your face for half a game.
I like this site a lot better - they show the UDFAs for each team all in one place and they are constantly updating the list. From checking back and forth, KFFL is also slower in its updates. link --> http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2009/04/2009-undrafted-free-agent-signings-list.html
Texans brought in Jeremiah Johnson, that's interesting, he might have a shot. Cowboys brought in Graham Harrell. That's a good fit. Kory Sheets and Alex Boone to the Niners. Good shots. Ian Johnson to the Vikings. Could be a nice compliment to AD. No Javorskie Lane. Did the kid even declare for the draft?
Nice list I bet Purvis will end up on the Pats... Augustus Parrish would be a great pick for the Jets and the same goes for Spillman.
Some of my favorite late round guys have not been picked up yet either: Nate Ness, S out of Arizona Tyrrell Herbert, S/CB out of Toledo Phillip Hunt, DE/OLB out of Houston Fred Poole, DE/OLB out of Mississippi Valley State David Nixon, OLB from BYU AND (trumpets) Lee Robinson, ILB/OLB out of Alcorn State
I think Spillman would be a good 4th safety for the Jets, after Rhodes, Leonhard, and Smith, and I also think Dannell Ellerbe from Georgia could make the team as a backup ILB to Scott/Harris since we don't have much depth there. Edit: I see we signed Emmanuel Cook, who I liked even more than Spillman.
Am I seeing things, or has Greg Carr not signed yet? CoachK got me looking at him more closely, and I think he'd be a great kid worth a look for his size in the red zone.
http://www.boston.com/sports/football/articles/2009/04/27/pizzotti_hooks_on_with_jets/ A little blurb about Pizzotti.
He has an opportunity to be the #3 QB. I have strong feeling Ainge may be a goner. There is more to his absence than we know at this time. His Uncle had a minor heart attack days after he left the team. Ainge is a flake!!
anyways for those unable to keep track, Jets DE Jamaal Westerman (Rutgers) TE Andrew Davie (Arkansas) DL Matt Kroul (Jets) P T.J. Conley (Idaho) S Emanuel Cook (South Carolina) TE Robert Myers (Utah State) FB Brannan Southerland (Georgia) QB Chris Pizzoti (Harvard OT Tavita Thompson (Oregon St) DE Zach Potter (Nebraska) OT Kyle Link (McNeese St) TE J'Nathan Bullock (Cleveland State - Basketball) from http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2009/04/2009-undrafted-free-agent-signings-list.html
