I think the two players I've been most impressed with this season, in terms of resurgence, are D'Brickashaw Ferguson and Sione Pouha.

Pouha is doing more than just holding space and he's creating some havoc in the backfield. That ill conceived running play that the Pats ran late in the game was a result of Pouha getting a great push.

Ferguson's work against Mario Williams, the powerful type of end who typically gives him problems, was superb, as was his play yesterday. I think playing for a milquetoast guy like Mangini was very detrimental for him, and he's definitely got the attitude adjustment he desperately needed.

I was wondering how Thomas was going to perform this season. My feeling was with the new coaching regime and the addition of Scott, accountability was going to either make him step up and play like we've seen flashes of in the past, or leave him in the dust.
He has shown that he can make plays. His biggest knock was laziness, i think.
So far i feel like he knows he has to step up and play to his potential.I think it's the Michael Jordan effect. Guys like Scott Harris, and Pace when he returns, make others around them better.

I don't think Leonhard gave Moss a chance to catch the ball at all. As soon as he got anywhere near Moss, he just pushed him out of bounds. If there was any hesitation, it might've been to see if Lito could make a play on the ball, and maybe catch the ball as it tipped again. But Leonhard didn't take any chances. He pushed Moss right out of the endzone as soon as he could.

as a unit they have been solid across the board...what impresses my most about this D is they tackle. How many time over the last few years has this team played soft on defense? allowing 2 yard plays turn into 15??
