Horrible play by Ledee. The Mets, as currently constructed, just aren't very good.

That might just be that - the Mets scoring at least 5 runs doesn't seem too likely to me.

That would be six straight lost series - that's more than just a slump, folks.

And yet another pathetic performance by the relievers. The boos rain down, and they are well-deserved.

And if that wasn't that then that was certainly that.

The only thing saving us right now is that both Atl and Phi are struggling

Well, at least there was no reason for me to not go outside and watch the International Space Station and Space Shuttle fly by. Not as cool as a lunar eclipse, or when Mars was so close (and bright red), but still nice to see.

In the month of June we are dead last in runs scored in the MLB and our pitcher's ERA is over 5.3

The Mets also have 13 errors in their last 16 games, so other then hitting, pitching, and fielding, they're doing pretty well.

Hey, you only have to go back to last year, and pray for a Cardinals-like year, especially since that one ended even better than it did for the Mets in 1973.

I still have faith. We will win this division.

Well, we will if someone takes out Carlos Delgado, Julio Franco, and Scott Schoenweis, and if Beltran goes on the DL.

Yep. That Carlos Beltran. The only way he'll really get back to where he should be is if he takes time off.
