Rex's Jets won divisional round games, but he never won the division title (Pats won the AFC East each of those years). It isn't quite as bad as Trump's Paterno gaffe, where he (1) implied Paterno was still alive and coaching, (2) seemed not to remember that Paterno is disgraced, (3) said it in Pittsburgh, where most people (well, those who care about college football) are Pitt fans.
