I don't see any way they take Trubisky #1 but then again this is the Browns we are talking about so .....
Yeah i've read this from several sources. Again, if I were a browns fan, I would be furious with the owner if this scenario occurred, I would guess that the fan base as a whole would be rightly peeved. As a non-browns fan, it would be hilarious (also the one of the top rated guys would fall into the Jets lap at #6 and i would love that)
If the reports are true that they like Trubisky enough to trade into the top 5 for him, then it'd be stupid for them to pass on Trubisky at 1 and risk the potentially miss out on a guy who they deem to be a future quality starter. I'd take a good but not great QB over the next potential Von Miller ten times of the week.
They have the ammo to make it back up to 5-6 no problem if they want both. That's why they take Garrett at 1.
They didn't piss away the number one pick on a project QB last year, and they won't do it this year either. Garrett goes at number one.
