6 years… he only started 1 game in 2020. 6 years from his 1 and only season as a starter in college and 8 years from his only season as a starter in HS

And you were breaking my balls for saying it was a bad trade for the Niners? Bad shrooms last night?

Breaking your balls and eating shrooms (never heard of bad shrooms) are 2 of my favorite hobbies

Trey Lance still is owed $940,000 for the remainder of 2023 and $5.3 million in 2024, all of which is guaranteed from Dallas. The Cowboys also have the ability to decide on Lance’s fifth-year option for 2025. https://t.co/cemu5vNJCR

Looks like Sam made the team #2. Good for him.

I moved your first thread to NFL Forum and merged with the existing thread. Doing the same here.

Not a bad move by Dallas. While I never thought Lance was worth that high of a selection (risk/reward) this is a good dice roll for them.
Imagine this current JETS team if they could've parlayed the #2 into a bounty of picks... :(

I haven't really followed the Trey Lance thing all that much, but he pretty much got snake bitten with the COVID debacle, got hurt then didn't get to prove himself to speak of.

Sam Darnold is back in his own backyard, more or less. It's disappointing how he bottomed out here, but there's no shame in being a solid back up if he does well in that role.

I liked Sam. He'll never get arrested for wife beating or being in a crack den, he does have that going for him . . . but he wasn't drafted to be a back up HERE, obviously. That said, the Jets don't have a solid back up. OK, now I have a headache, and I forgot where I was going with this. Probably Palookavilke. o_O

I love your takes. They just make my day. Much better than my wife's.

I was half-kidding, but you aren't. I hope if you have a daughter that you wouldn't approve of someone she dates who thinks like you do. Just so you know, don't waste your time with your rapier wit answering because I won't engage it. I said all I'm going to say and I won't waste anyone else's time by de-railing the thread with unnecessary nonsense either. Good Day, Sir.
