Hey guys, I didn't want to start a new thread for this because we all know what will happen, but what is the latest on Brodney Pool? The FA tracker on this site says he's not going to be signed, but I never heard why. Can someone fill me in please? He's right around JAG status but maybe he would improve in year 2 of the system. I would certainly prefer Donte Whitner (if he hasn't signed already) but I wouldn't be opposed to having Pool back next season. Thanks.
Holy shit, I've been waiting for this since his week one sack against the Texans 2 years ago. If Westerman can get 6 sacks as a rotational OLB we're going to have a Horse Cockin' Defense.
the FA tracker said so because Manish Metha twitted such info... apart from that there's no actual news. Still hoping he signs a 1yr deal.
I could be a total dick and say "this belongs in the Free Agency thread" but hopefully no one else will do that now that I just became that guy. Pool apparently doesn't fit into the Jets plans due to his asking price being too high. So as of right now he's not coming back. The Jets do need some consistency and talent opposite Leonhard. Eric Smith is going to be that guy this year.
Another dude I'd love to hear more about. I was real pumped to hear that Rex thinks Wilk is a starter right away.
i was at practice this afternoon and thought he looked pretty good. looked he was moving around well with no lingering effects from the injury. he was getting good penetration every time i focused on him during the team portions of practice. I would expect that we will see him getting regular playing time as part of a rotation and will see some good things from him.

Hey Petro - I'm thinking about checking out camp on Sunday - Have you ever gone on a weekend? I would assume Sunday will be the busiest of days but unfortunately its the only day free I have.
Something is wrong with the photos when I view them, for instance, in one photo all I see is some fat chick with a gunt and kid laying in a drainage ditch. Anyone else having the same problem?
That happened as well on firefox, but the full pictures came out when i tried to see them on google chrome
