Me too. I'm shocked there was no mention of any of the rookies at all today. I guess they kinda took a back seat to all the insanity that has ensued over the past week. Hopefully we get some kind of report tomorrow.

Not a surprise at all, but it's really good to see Sanchez embracing his captainship.

I do not know about any of you but I sure as hell am excited for the upcoming season. For the first time today I watched the highlights from the AFC Championship, and you can see that the Jets were the better team that just came out flat during the first half. They totally dominated Pitt during the second half and just ran out of time. Sanchez also played great during the playoffs and if he takes the next step to becoming the quarterback that we all know that he can be the rest of the NFL is in trouble because this team will not be stopped.

It's interesting to see the players getting reps on punt returns.

I'm surprised they still have Jim Leonhard back there. I thought the idea was to no longer use him in that capacity after his leg injury.

I'm glad to see Kyle Wilson is still getting opportunities. That was a big part of his game coming out of Boise St. and I thought the coaching staff might have soured on him.

The comment about Jeremy Kerley "getting a lot of action" and looking "slightly less confused" are interesting as well. If we do intend to trade Cotchery (which I hope doesn't happen and doubt we could even get anything of value for him) the speed of Kerley's acclimation to the pro level could be the deciding factor.

Joe McKnight is my favorite to land the full-time job.

Is the transition from college to NFL very different on kick returns?

How can Kyle who did pretty great in college not win this job? And considering their are 2, maybe even 3 ahead of him for a CB spot.

NFL punt coverage teams are much better than punt coverage teams in the WAC. Also, all the players mentioned were excellent return men in college.

I didn't realize plaxico and holmes were that close; wonder if that'll help keep any static about ball distribution down? Or at least amiable?

    They mentioned it was rust.

INTs are going to the thrown in TC. Especially against this defense.

I don't know if that's true cause McElroy and Kerley were getting reps
