Who is he contributing to? Do you even understand the argument you're trying to make? You don't do you? Rex said that because he knew if he had said something like 'Moore was brought in the make the red zone offense more efficient' then the beat writers would be writing articles about how Rex believes Schotty's red zone offense was inefficient. He only brings criticism upon himself, because he is a leader.
You think maybe Schotty pined for Moore's arrival? No flippin way. Shotty thinks he can do the job by himself otherwise he would'nt be an O-coordinator. Shotty does'nt want Moore putting in his 2 cents but I guess its not Shotty's call. If Schotty came up with this idea then it would be different but bringing in Moore was a Rex and Mike Tannenbaum revelation. No matter what is said you can bet Shotty would rather Moore not be involved - its human nature.
Maybe its your human nature to act like an insecure moron - rest assured that people who are confident professionals looking to constantly improve and win are more than happy to consult with experienced experts. Your unsubstantiated notion that Schotty is secretly freaked out is absurd and hilariously says more about you than it does about schotty. Moore is a great resource and he's known Marty and Brian for decades. and he's 77 freaking yrs old, takes a nap every day and is simply doing some consulting. If Schotty is as neurotic and unstable as you suggest, to the point where he refuses to tolerate working with any consultants (including a retired offensive genius & world champion) to help improve the team, then he should be axed immediately.
The previous 2 pics are unreal, the LT one could be used for wallpaper if you touch up the backround. Does anyone know about practice this Wednesday? The official website doesn't have it listed for that day anymore they removed it, is it cancelled?
Dude, what you don't seem to understand is that they're essentially using Moore as a second set of eyes. He has no authority, he can't override anything Schotty does, and on the other hand Schotty can always brush off what Moore says, if he doesn't agree with it. You're acting like Rex brought him in here to be a coordinator in waiting, to undermine Schotty and that's not the case at all. The fact that you think that Schottenheimer would be that petulant is quite astounding, in fact you're projecting your own insecurities on the whole matter. Glad you're not our OC, you'd be an unprofessional little whiner.
Right. I think I'm pretty good at my job, but if the business tells me they're bringing in one of the best guys to ever do the job to consult and help me to get better at it, I'm grabbing that opportunity with both hands.
Very well said. Joe Torre was never better than when he had Don Zimmer as a bench coach to bounce ideas and decisions off of. Moore can be invaluable to BS whether it be offensive game planning, scripting plays, in-game adjustments or even straight play calling where BS has been streaky and inconsistent at times. Having full, real time access to Moore can only improve Schotty's effectiveness as an OC.
Thank you, you were almost the cause of messing up my plans in a major way then how would you feel? jk
