Nice write up by Turn on the Jets about training camp, our coach and the QB situation. I agree with Joe about the way Bowles handles the media regarding the QB situation. He is handling communicating what the plan is and what's he thinks about all 3 like a rookie coach which he is not. THoughts? http://turnonthejets.com/2017/08/primesport-turn-jets-12-pack-new-york-jets-vent-edition/#more-38043
It's a sick joke that the Jets haven't drafted an offensive skill player in almost a decade. No wonder why this team sucks on offense year in and year out.
Every single offseason ends w no other idea to consider than "next April is all about the offense"..until spring arrives & it's still the same idiotic conservative lifeless defensive crap
Very good article from Turn on the Jets regarding how Bowles has communicated the QB situation with the media and how the plan keeps on changing and the possibility that the front office might be steering the QB ship not the coach. Whether its the coach or front office and just seems like once again we don't know what we are doing. Also he brings up some good points about our GM. http://turnonthejets.com/2017/08/primesport-turn-jets-12-pack-new-york-jets-vent-edition/#more-38043
When the NFL changed the player cut dates it kinda changed things for evaluating players possibly. Before this year the roster took shape earlier; after the third preseason game. Now there's players to continue competing for roster spots and starting roles and coaches have an extra game to evaluate players after the 3rd game. Maybe Bowles has considered this in the way he's handling things. We're used to the roster being more defined by now, and set after tonight, but really there's more time now because the coaches have the players to evaluate and compete in the 4th game. I'm guessing the NFL changed this to make the 4th game more relevant to increase revenue. Previously the 4th game was a waste of time and there was no interest in it
