    Spicy!

Yet it sounds like we need the AFC powerhouses to lay an egg.

Don't forget the NY Jets are the fallen souffle of football.

Truth be told...I'm stoked for the season as much as yourself...maybe I'm getting realistic to protect my sensitive emotions.

Wow Tom Brady number 5 ? Holy Demotion Batman lmao :D

He Sam D and I thank you Knight

I would re arrange top 10 ..after that you are spot on!

Any QB who has been to a SB has probs/digs so it's :

    Tom B
    Ben R
    Nick F
    Joseph Flacco

    Then:

    Pat M
    Phillip R
    Sam D
    Baker M
    Desan W

The rest are the Bottom Feeders Marriot a Allen Jackson Fitz etc

Although I really hate to admit it you are totally right. Brady is great at ball placement. He always has that sneaky slot receiver who just gets 1st down after 1st down. Welker, Amandola and now Edelman. I cannot count the number of times I have screamed at the TV on 3rd and long "They are going to (Welker/Amandola/Edelman)!!!!!!!" and they would convert 9 times out 10 to one of those guys. Gronk also had a special way of destroying my hopes that the Jets defense would get off the field in those situations too.

The things I wrote about Mahomes aren't what I thought, it's what others thought. He WAS cast in the RG3/Vick mold (right or wrong)...highly athletic with a rocket arm (vs a pure pocket passer with zero mobility...ie, Brady).

Your comment about college record not being all that important, the Giants got your message. I think this is the path Macc was hoping for Hackenberg....Macc thought he saw something in Hack that others missed. Macc was wrong! Jones has looked really good. Won't be long b4 Manning is holding the clip board. I would be shocked (but not surprised) if Jones was named opening day starter.

Yeah I know, but when I saw the quote it reminded me if Josh's highlights I saw the day before.

Yes, I know that you were saying what others thought and not you yourself.

Mahomes was also looked down upon as yet another Texas Tech Air Raid System QB.

Progressing. My guess is he’s gonna need to do individuals this week and team drills next week in order for him to play week 1. We’ll see if he actually does anything today.

And if that (^) is the target, looks like he’s on track

I saw a report before the one I quoted that said Reshad Jones could be on his way out too, so I assumed that report was talking about Jones as well. Whoops

Robby isn’t at practice today. There’s speculation from fans on Twitter that we may be shopping him for Clowney. This is in follow-up to a Cimini report that the Texans want a WR in exchange and that Robby is the only receiver we have that would make contractual sense to trade.

Allow me to get out in front of that and say I would fucking hate that trade.

This would be tremendously stupid. I can’t imagine Douglas is that dumb. You don’t trade a huge piece of your offense that has very good chemistry with your second year franchise quarterback for a potential one-year rental.

I think a lot of us would be opposed to that. Offensive minded coach and we would be trading away one of the better weapons we have on our team. If you told me that Q would play all 16 games, I would CONSIDER it. Don't get me wrong - I think Clowney is definitely the better player, but Robby has more value to Sam and helping him than Clowney would have to help improve the D IMO.

On top of that he's personable and a fan favorite, which is important for a team that hasn't won anything in...I forgot exactly how long since I haven't seen Champ post in a while.

He’s not going anywhere, Robby is going to be a large part of our offense and they’re not going to redesign it with him not there.

Agree. I would be violently opposed to trade any piece of the team that makes Sam better and expedites his development. Lets face it, the way we are built we have to win by outscoring our opponents. Clowney or not this defense is not a shut down or even a slow down the opposing offenses. We are far from able to stop the top teams from piling up the score.

If the starters play and there are no injuries, post-game fan poll:

    Too risky. Bad idea: 10%
Gotta get some chemistry. Smart move!: 50%
I didn't notice who was playing the line: 40%

If the starters play and someone gets hurt, post-game fan poll:

    Murder Adam Gase: 98%
