Thanks for posting, @NCJetsfan! Good updates. I love the vibes the team has right now. I hope it carries over into the regular season.
I just watched Dowell Loggains' presser and it was hilarious. I wonder what he gets paid? He has it made. Clearly just a proxy for Adam Gase. Pretty sweet gig if you can get it.
Le'Veon Bell is loving it as a JET! He's bringing great vibes to our locker room and on the verge of exploding once taking center stage. Coming to NYJ has mentally refreshed this man he's ready to carry the work load and lead Sam Darnold to great things. Darnold is blessed as a 2nd year pup to have Bell.
Looks like we may finally have a kicker again haha Guy is hitting field goals today like it's nothing!
Please mind your own business. I guess you missed this gem of a quote below... Le'Veon Bell on Gase (offense) vs. G Williams (defense) in practice: "That's like the best thing I've ever been a part of. When you see that competition, I literally never had nothing like it. Coach Williams is a defensive genius vs an offensivegenius. They go at it every day." Sounds like a refreshed man to me who's bringing great vibes to our team. Doesn't fit your agenda? Well then leave the TC thread and piss off lol
LOL. He probably does plenty behind the scenes, most we will never see, including all the crap Gase does not want to deal with. He was the guy that run to Gase and told him to throw the flag on that non interference call against the Giants. Perfect call and a potential game changer when the season starts. If he keeps Gase focused on game strategy while he takes care of the day to day details is money well spent.
I'm as wary of Le'Veon as anyone...but it seems like he's buying in. Bell and safety Jamal Adams have been trading trash talk every day, and Bell said it has gotten everyone going in addition to the gamesmanship between Gase and Williams. “I love it because it’s competition,” Bell said. “You’ve got guys like Jamal on the other side. He’s literally like me, but plays defense. That’s just two guys clashing. He’s going to get the defense going. I’m going to get the offense going. Now, the offense and defense are just clashing all practice. The ones, twos, threes, everybody. That’s only going to make our team better. When you’ve got guys going out there and they are preparing like they are playing a game versus people just going through the motions, it helps your team get better.”
