If you're interested to hear more, you should check out "Pat McAfee Show" on YouTube, Rodgers was there every Tuesday last season to chat with Pat on various topics, not just football. He is going to continue to do that this season as well.

I don't hate the guy, quite the opposite, I enjoy those interviews.

Rodgers is one of the biggest douches in the whole NFL

Becton needs to step up. Hopefully camp is being used as a way to get him in shape since he was injured off-season. If it’s a bad year for him, I think we should consider moving him to LG

Thanks for posting this! It is a very informative and interesting press conference and one of the best things I've ever heard here on TGG or anywhere. I've always liked Rodgers since he began starting for GB and never understood why so many thought him to be a dick. He had positive things to say about McCarthy and how his being there so long gave them the opportunity to really fine tune the offense, adjust plays, drop plays, add new plays, etc.

I especially loved how he said a WR running a wrong route in preseason had led to a new play or a series of new plays. I love the interraction they have had. It was sad to hear him talk about how the QBs today may be thwarted in developing and truly learning to play the QB position because of the insecurity or OCs. I love that he came over to talk to our QBs and shared information with them that he thought would help them and us.

I think it will be a sad day and a big loss for the NFL when Rodgers has played his last game as a Packer and/or in the NFL. I hope Zach will get to speak with him a lot and really pick his brain. Zach could learn a LOT from Rodgers.

I agree. Thankfully, I don't think our LaFleur will stifle Zach or would be able to, even if he wanted to! LOL I truly hope that Zach and Rodgers can get to be friends and Zach will have the opportunity to learn a lot from Rodgers. I think the Jets coaches will take that ability to heart and will work with Zach. If they don't, then they're morons. Zach is a guy who can make their jobs much easier, and our offense a LOT better and more productive.

Wow that’s the first time I’ve heard anyone mention possibly moving him to guard? I think going against Carl Lawson every day has been trying for Becton but in a good way. It keeps him on his toes and shows him he can improve. The injuries is something they’ll have to watch with him. But personally I don’t see this regime switching him to guard if anything they would slide him to RT in the future.

But I think he’s here to stay at LT......that’s JD’s starting building block for this nasty OL he’s building.

such a disappointment when he showed up to camp overweight. That was the no.1 concern with his future by far and he fell right into it

lets dead this now. Saleh didn’t mention anything about Becton showing up overweight. The only weight issues he had was toward the end of the season where he was around 380 and that’s explained in this article here.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/jetswi...becton-weight-leaner-frame-workout-video/amp/

The video that was posted he looks leaner but he took it upon himself to hire a chef and to work on his weight. Saleh said he has not focused on a “number” but to be sure he’s at a good weight to play his best.

He's simply too big and tall to play guard.

This is the second time hearing the “man travels faster than the ball” comment. I believe I heard Zach or Saleh say this recently in a long presser. I don’t know what to make of this theory. Not sure I agree with it.

I’m trying man! He’s a hell of a run blocker. Just a thought. If it’s quick oases we may be alright with him but speedy guys are flying by him. Lawson is also a stud BTW

Well, I think he's just to alluding to how much faster the closing speed is of defenders in the NFL than in college.

Regardless, I like Saleh as a dude and everything and the intensity seems good, but he gives me early Bowlesish - the player is always right vibes. This has nothing to do with the Wilson quote above FWIW.

I hope I'm wrong or he's just a players coach that holds accountability behind closed doors - something that Bowles never seemed to do.

We are cursed as a franchise. Carl Lawson down bad. Dude was made of glass and that’s why Cincy moved on. Damn. Hope he’s back because he’s a big signing for us.
