Jets, now predicted to go 4-0 to start the season. Even if Brady plays week one, no way Belli lets him start against a blitz happy rex.
don't try to get back on topic now. but yeah, thats great news. heres hoping he's out there all year long with no problems.
This is hysterical - Hobbes calls someone out for bring retarded than posts that Belicheck will sit Brady if he is healthy and plays week 1 because he is afraid of Rex's defense. Jets have a better shot at starting 0-4 than 4-0.
So according to half this thread, Geno should start over Sanchez, even though Sanchez has been the better quarterback in practice. Yet, people say Sanchez didn't work out because the Jets coddled him... Hmm...
You're crazy Why do you keep saying they'll start 3-1 We could start 0-3 off the jump Mark won't be here after this year 200% fact
According to the stats they're even but Sanchez who's more experienced and had a 3 month jump on the playbook along with knowing Rex's D should be killing it Says a lot for the 5th year veteran
Go back in time, pre draft. They could have signed Kolb, or Flynn, with the money cleared after Brick restructured. They went with 2 questinable RBs instead.
Sanchez, is better against TB,Buffalo, and Tenn, than Locker,Kolb(or Manuel) and , ..lol..Freeman, are going to be against Rex. Look, you love Geno, I get it. But really? Those three world beaters are going to take Rex to school. Now you are embarassing yourself.
That money was to designate Mark as a June 1 cut He was gone Go listen to his interview with Francesa, everything he did with Revis he did with Sanchez
Training camp stats don't matter at all. Most beat writers and people who attend camp (that aren't completely biased against Sanchez) seem to have Sanchez as the more consistent and better quarterback. Smith has moments where he looks better, but he holds onto the ball too long. Like you said, Sanchez SHOULD be better. And he has been, from reports. I haven't been to camp, so I'm just going on what I'm reading, just like most of the people here. But if Geno doesn't deserve to start, and we're just starting him because we have that pick invested in him, isn't that the same issue the Jets had with Sanchez?
Sounds like Geno had a rough day today, that is disappointing. I'm really rooting for the kid, hopefully this was just a bad day and is not something that will become the norm. Sanchez appears to have stepped up a little bit this offseason. We will find out fast if he's improved or not during the first few games. Sanchez will be starting week one guys, without a Doubt. How long he remains the starter will be up to his performance. If he plays like he did last season, it won't be long. Hopefully he rises to the challenge and has a career year. He doesn't need to be spectacular, just has to protect the football and play smart. The best case scenario for the team is that both QBs play well and Geno can sit for a bit and learn and grow as a QB before he is our full time starter.
