    People i know back east tell me Gordon Edes of the boston Globe just said on Nesn that Manny has been traded, but that he doesn't have any details.

    So half the sources say Manny to the Dodgers, half say Bay to the dodgers, i can't Imagine they picked up Both. maybe manny to LA, prospects etc to Pit and Bay to Bos?

    Before it's announced I'll take a guess. Manny cash and a low prospect to LA, Eithier and good prospect and Boston's prospect to PIT maybe another mid to low prospect to the pirates. Bay to Bos.

    Boston.com is reporting the Sox may have gotten Bay and traded Manny. Three team deal with Dodgers, Pirates and Sox?

    Yikes. I hope he realizes we have a real left field at Dodger Stadium and he can't just stand there waiting for the ball to bounce back to him off the giant wall. I hope we didn't trade Ethier or Kemp for two months of Manny.

    My question is, if SI is right and it's all Minor leaguers to the pirates what the hell are the Dodgers doing with their other OFs? I mean manny in left, but that leaves Pierre, eithier, kemp, jones for 2 spots. They didn't have enough time to go around to start with. and with Manny's defense in left you need one of Jones/Pierre in every day, as kemp is ok in center, but not great. So this deal is gonna hurt Eithier or Kemp's playing time Badly, i assume eithier

    You're acting surprised that the Dodgers are putting ridiculous roadblocks in front of the outstanding young talent they have? This is a team that signed fucking Nomar to play third while Andy LaRoche gets to sit around with his thumb up his ass.

    Laroche is very good, but I wonder why the pirates like this deal better than the one's speculated to be coming from the marlins?
