I added the S and it still doesn't make any sense. I guess I'll never find out now.

how sad. jhsensation10 is such an attention whore but is actually so irrelevant his banning didn't even inspire anyone to bump up the banned thread to mention his inclusion. poor jhsensation10, a genius only in his own mind.

but to add to the topic, you don't trade Vilma simply to improve another area of the 3-4. you improve that area in another way that makes Vilma dominant again, thus you improve two positions with one move. if you trade Vilma, you still need to replace him.

question, is it a bannable offense to insult someone who is currently banned?

Actually, I'd say you should have read your clarification BEFORE you posted.. then you would not have.

This is the NFL, the world of the salary cap. Trading Vilma = Nice sized cap hit.

I understand what JHS is trying to accomplish, but don't get caught up in how much guys weigh....

To win in football it takes more then being big and strong, you got to have the knack to make plays and step up. Your telling me Vilma has to go b/c he's 20 lbs to light? No way.

You see where the emphasis on size got Raider Joe, don't follow suit. Even if it means running things differently then a traditional 3-4, we need to find ways to make plays using playmakers like Vilma. You've sees what happens when we play aggressive and out dline steps up....lets see how things play out with this new aggressive D before deciding to give up on our probowler.

While Vilma might be on the smaller side, you can't account for his speed, leadership, and football intelligence. Like Tedi Bruschi, having Vilma is like having an extra safety out there. The guy is truly a football player, and a defensive quarterback, and those aren't easy to come by. Besides that, the game is evolving, and speed is more key than ever.

Another gem is the quiz. Complete justification through a deluded statement or question. He may be a senator.

Why don't we just go sign a bunch of Free Agents then trade them to crappy teams for 4th round draft picks. Then we can trade our 3 and two 4's to get a 2nd round pick. Do that twice, then take our three 2 round picks and get the number one pick overall?

It works for me all the time.

OK, pointless to reply to the OP, but we need a true NT. Trading Vilma would be moronic.

I totally agree. I feel our coaching staff is the "New School" of the NFL and is/will be pushing the envelope on what is considered TRADITIONAL.
