What do you do with Revis?

  1. Sign Revis for Asomugha money - the market is set.

    20.3%
  2. Pay Revis 14-15 mil for solid guaranteed money.

    65.6%
  3. Trade Revis to the highest bidder.

    14.1%

See, but I do say the art is overpriced, if I feel it is.

I complain about the price of a lot of things these days, because so much is overvalued in comparison to the average wage for Americans. Why is that not a fair watermark to judge anyone against? Every person who pays taxes factors into that number. CEOs, football players, doctors, teachers, janitors, fry guys, etc.

The guy responsible for my safety (police officer/firefighter) makes a pittance compared to the guy who entertains me for 3 hours a week (football player.) Sorry, but I have a problem with the ridiculous disparity, regardless of the different professions. Is a firefighter in any less demand than a football player? Does he work less hard? Yet, he gets paid far less, for a far more important and far more dangerous job. Still I have to suffer Revis talking about feeding his family. I just can't get on board with that.

Honestly, I wouldn't even be talking about this had Revis not 1) pulled his "light-headed" BS, and 2) not tried to appeal to the public through the press to get on his side. My own economic situation leaves me little pity for a guy making more this year than I will for the next couple decades.

I love Revis as much as the next guy, but how many times have you seen a guy perform then get his big pay day and suddenly he's not so great anymore? Can I say that's Revis? Only about as much as anyone can say it's not. That being said he's had some pretty decent offers thrown at him and he's declined them.

you feel it? as opposed to have thought logically about the differences, revealing they aren't comparable, and coming to a logical conclusion?

do you make more than a dishwasher at restaurant who probably works harder than you and for 16 hours per day? if so, are you never going to ask for a raise at your job and simply be appreciative for how much you do make because somebody works harder and makes less than you? do you then consider yourself overpaid as well? by your emotions, anyone who makes more than a police officer or a teacher is overpad because they don't have the same social responsibility and effect.

graphic designers make more than police. are they overpaid because their life isn't in danger? of course not, you know why? because they aren't paid by the same system. you'd see these glaring differences if you stopped to think about the factors in the argument rather than simply being emotional about it and feeling your position.
