What on earth makes you think we're drafting a QB next year?

Because We Dropped 18 Spots and Gave up 2 picks in the Process!!!!!

What part of that don't you guys get?
We didn't get a 2nd next year for free & they messed up and had to move back up after the SNAFU.

You guys are not looking at the whole picture and are only seeing what you want to see.

So you can have that opinion but I can't have mine and I'm Wrong???

You guys are really Immature and have absolutely no regard for what other people have to say.
AND STOP W/ THE F*IN NAME CALLIN!!!

With those 2 second picks in addition to our first rounder, again, we'd have the ammo to make a deal to move up to nab a stud like adrian peterson (huge playmaker at RB), Teddy Ginn (huge playmaker at WR), or quinn if we don't think clemens can take over teh QB spot.

we will have the #1 pick overall next draft and it won't be because of a trade.

We may be bad, but not that bad. I think the Jets can be as good as .500

When we dropped to 54 or wutever it was, we traded our 35 for that pick, a 6th rounder (no. 189), and a 07 second rounder.

We then traded the 53rd or 54th pick (whichever it was) along with the 6th rounder we just got in that deal (no. 189), and a seventh rounder of ours for the 49th, only 14 spots lower than where we originally started out. So really, we only gave up one pick (a friggin 7th rounder, no biggie) because the 6th rounder we gave was just acquired in the other deal for the 35th pick.

So, if you follow the dots, we traded the #35 pick plus a seventh rounder (again, a 7th round draft pick, no biggie) and received the number 49 pick, where we nabbed the guy we wanted all along (Clemens), and an 07 second rounder for next year. Thats a real good trade.

Again, that extra second round pick, plus the first and second we already have, will give us ammo in next yrs draft if we wanna move to the top of the draft to get a playmaker like A-Pete at RB or Teddy Ginn Jr at WR.

It was a real good trade. Anyone could've draftd D'Brick or Mangold at 4 and 29, but i think this trade is the highlight of Tangini's draft.

well, ok then, we could already nab the guy we'd want if we did end up with the first pick and keep our other picks to address our other needs.
