Yeah I think we are all a bit frustrated. I didn't expect to win more then 2 games in the 1st half, but I also didn't expect to be blown out every game and see luke falk start for a month or to have by far the worst rated offense in the NFL but here we are. Things can only go up from here.

The fact that I've wondered if the Bowles regime would be in a better spot right now, or at least putting a more competitive team on the field most weeks says all that needs to be said.

Two wrongs don't make a right though. Bowles wasn't a fit and then the Johnsons made another mistake with Gase. I'm wondering what is going to happen this offseason and if anything truly changes. I go into every offseason with hopes of an improved roster and/or a better coach. These last few years I have been disappointed by the end of the third day of the draft ( except for when Darnold fell into their laps ).

If the Jets can stockpile draft picks and follow the 49ers model, they can also be a very formidable team very soon.

Which mean they'll do the opposite.

Kyle Shanahan is an excellent HC, unless they find the next KS it’s not going to make much of a difference.

Yeah, that's what some of us have been thinking for the past 45 years and here we are once again with the team being lower than dirt.

With Douglas it at least seems that he understands the value of line play and plans to make that a priority. If he does that the right way, the team will become competitive again soon.

His commitment to the OL leads me to believe that he does have a vision for the offense, and at least part of that vision is keeping the QB’s uniform clean.

Kyle Shanahan was not so revered when he was coaching the Redskins. Hopefully, Gase will improve with age.

John Lynch the GM actually deserves the credit here also.

lynch has done a surprisingly great job as a GM. can't think of another former player who has been as good as a GM then lynch.
