Naw. Mayfield > Darnold > Jackson > Allen > Rosen Jackson has been a better passer of the football then Josh Allen, Ravens running too many designed runs, they don't have to. RPO hasn't been utilized well. I expect these rankings to change in a few years. Baker has a strong foundation, but the others will catch up.
Darnold is fine. Gotta dig a lot deeper into the stats and the context of them to draw meaningful conclusions even of where they all stand this year. Darnold's supporting cast is hot trash. Maybe Allen's is worse. Being behind the chains due to penalties, inability to run the ball consistently, drops, etc. Sure, he's looked like a rookie but often a very good rookie on a team full of castaways.
The upcoming draft's first round needs to be dedicated to offense; I don't know what's needed more: WRs or O-line.
The way the refs behaved in this game once we took the lead in the 4th is blatant Operation Go Texans in full effect
I still can't believe Kearse is the same guy as last year. It seems like he doesn't give a shit. He made the most minimal effort to catch that ball at the end of the game.
Jets should focus on getting more drafts. Get couple O-line, Physical WR. Darnold was solid but need to work on getting smarter on 2 min drills.
A final check and a pink slip should be waiting for him when he gets to his locker. He was wholly disinterested in actually closing on the first down throw at the end, because it'd mean he'd have to make phyisical contact with the LB that wasn't even looking at the ball.
Kearse is a veteran WR and should be smarter to play To the ball or draw interference. He can go elsewhere next year
Nice game for Darnold. No turnovers, two tds and 100 rating. Very pleased he looked good and the jets lost. Solid chance they move up two spots tomorrow.
Everyone’s disinterested after two years of coaching by Bowles. Next season, Darnold will turn up 4 stones overweight and only throw left-handed.
Kearse is done in this league after this year. Dude has seriously lost a step and is a shell of what we saw last year.
Darnold looks like he’s put on a decent amount of arm strength since last year. Some of these throws are rifles. This is why you draft young. He wasn’t done physically developing yet.
Nice. Everyone on Baker's dizzle -- and nothing against him -- but dude's got the #3 OL and Sam's got #26. Night and day. Also, this one had me dying. Sorry if everyone's already seen it.
