Unless Kansas City has suddenly moved 1800 miles westward that's three West Coast games, Brook, not four.
Yes, it is the refs that make the difference for the home team, no question. Except...when the home team is a door mat (like the Jets have been), in which case the refs will favor the visiting team if it's a playoff-caliber one (like the Patriots).
Football season is here. Spend less time in weather forums and join the football conversation please.
Teams settling in and finding their rhythm, hmmm. That's a nice thought you got goin' on there in Candy Land but the Jets have always had about as much rhythm as my brother-in-law on the dance floor. I never know just what the hell he's doing out there or what he's trying to do out there but I just clap along because either he thinks he's pretty good or he has no shame. Wait, am I at a wedding or a Jets game? I'm so confused!
Funny but this season has nothing to do with the last or the past 50. Enjoy the fact that the Jets have weapons on offense and can learn to score a bunch. As long as they stay healthy on that side of the ball they have a chance every week. Otherwise their talent is middle of the pack. If they get lucky with injuries there is no reason they can't contend for a playoff spot. I really hope the board will be filled with intelligent opinions and analysis not coach bashing. Go Jets.
No. This team has glaring weaknesses, including lack of depth. After a few players are banged up, they will suck.
After watching the turd fest to kick off the NFL's 100th year by two team that are considered playoff teams, Im much more optimistic about the Jets chances to make the playoffs. Apparently in the 100th year the NFL reduction of practice and playing actual NFL players in the pre-season has worked. Parity has been achieved.
