Eisen's great. I haven't listened to his podcast, but I'll have to give it a shot. NFLN made such a brilliant move hiring him away to be the face of the network at its launch.

It would go on to claim that White America was reveling in the fact that the African American player had lost control of basketball.

The fact that he's a scumbag in real life makes me like him even more.

Don Banks is the first guy I look for on a Monday morning, I don't really agree with much of what Peter King says, but I still read his column every week, so I should include him. Beyond that it's tough. There are a few sites/writers who go so deep into stats and analysis that I find it tough to read, on the other hand the vast majority are so irredeemably superficial that I find no value in what they have to say. Too few strike a happy medium.

As for worst? Prisco by a mile.

Rich Eisen really reminds me of the comedian Larry Miller in appearance (and they even sound a bit alike to my ear).

Every time I see him I keep expecting him to start trying to sell ties to Richard Gere.

Don't get me wrong, I do think he is very good.

I don't see what is so bad about that, if that's how he felt that's on him. I don't agree w/ everything I read but more often than not the guy is funny and I enjoy reading his articles. If we stopped reading b/c we disagreed w/ one view then where do we stop? do we stop watching movies of idiot actors that spout off about nonsense? do we stop watching our teams play b/c we have morons driving drunk and beating women?

I can tell you who sucks lol...Seth Wickersham and Prisco being at the top of the list. Throw some Mike Freeman in there for a grenade of shit.

In terms of who I actually like, I still don't mind the crypt-keeper because I find that he's fair most of the time. I'll read Schefter, although there's no question he isn't the same from when he was at NFL Network. His blog used to be destination reading for me and now he has a mailbag which is lame most of the time. Banks is pretty good.

EDIT: I see some people mentioned Whitlock. I've never taken him seriously after he said Curtis Martin wasn't a Hall of Fame back. And of course when Herm got hired by the Chiefs, he loved the move so much I thought he was going to just get on his knees and let Herm show him some of that Dick Curl.
