A third for a guy who didn't have any catches as a rookie and 21 last year. Way too rich for my blood. No thank you. 6th 7th I'd look into it. Anyhting else I'll pass.
I need Brandon Copeland brought back. Kid is the goods + a tremendous locker room presence. He is doing great off-field work.
Steelers front office over the years has been very good at when to say bye bye..well...several cases no but I wouldn't bet against their judgement...with that said I would go Bell. HE IS a game controller and for Darnold, that would be a real gift year 2.
I am not attempting to be a smart ass, but if you know that the Steelers are typically good at knowing when to let go of a player, why do you want him? This seems like the same trap a lot of GMs fall into. They see the production, but fail to realize that these teams know their players BEST. The Steelers wanted to keep Bell at a price they were comfortable with. He didn't bite, so they said bye-bye. The Jets should not overpay for Bell. If they do, it will come back to bite them.
I agree w/you about Burnett. Would actually be REALLY NICE if he because a great slot player. We need to start beating the Patriots at their own game - all of their WRs are just basically slot players.
The steelers have an unbelievable eye for skill talent & as such no WR/RB is irreplaceble outside of a QB. It isnt a production thing for them like when the cheatriots part ways..its a price tag thing. The jets do not scout skill well & do not properly prioritize it in the draft..as a result theyre forced to pay handsomely for productive skill bc of its dire neccesity in the modern game.
Nah, just the wrong fit for what Nagy wants to do. Needs to be in the right system. He's a pretty good RB. Not better then Bell thats for sure.
