    The Packers defense feasted on shitty offenses last year and generally got shit on when they faced top offenses. The only exception was their game against Dallas.

    21 of there 30 INT's were from Cutler, Stafford, Flacco, Hasselbeck and Leinart.

    Code:
    INT's	PA	Passing Rank
    4 	15	17		vs. CHI
    2	31	26		vs. CIN
    1	17	28		@STL
    [color=red][B]0	30	8		@MIN[/B][/color]
    3	0	21		vs. DET
    1	3	32 		@CLE
    [color=red][B]0	38	8		vs. MIN[/B][/color]
    1	38	24		@TB
    [color=red][B]1	7	6		vs. DAL[/B][/color]
    1	24	22		vs. SF
    4	12	21		@DET
    3	14	18		vs. BAL
    2	14	17		@CHI
    [color=red][B]0	37	9		@PIT[/B][/color]
    4	10	15		vs. SEA
    3	7	12		@ARI (vs. backups for all but 1 drive)

    vs. Top 10 Passing attacks
    Games	INT's	PA
    4	1	112
    AVG/GM
    INT	PA
    .25	28

    While the Packers D may be overrated by some, they definately have a top 5 defense. That D is even better this year just like ours.

    Oh, that's right. The Packers are one of the 28 teams you root for.

    Come on now man, lol. Odrick doesn't have to carry them. We got rid of the biggest liability in Dolphins history...... Gibril Wilson!!!! I'm so glad we kiscked his butt out the door!!!!! Even if Clemons starts for us, which I think he will, it will definately be an upgrade. Clemons is very fast with great makeup speed, and good ball skills. He has a year under his belt now, so I expect big things from him this year. The LB corps got much younger and faster with the departure of JT and JP, and the addition of Koa Misi, and Cameron Wake. While Wake is an outstanding pass rusher, he is a little weaker in stopping the run. Either way he is an upgrade over Taylor. Fergie retired yesterday, so that means Starks will have to occupy blockers all year, which will almost certinally allow Ryan Baker to make the 53 man roster. We will have Starks, Baker, and Soili playing NT this year, while Merling, Langford, and Odrick will hold the DE position down. Our secondary..... we ger Will Allen back this year, which is a huge plus for the secondary!!!! Vonte, and Sean will benefit a great deal from Will's mentouring.

    With all that said, even with Nolan heading up the defense, I still don't expect us to be a top 5 in the league defense..... top 5 in the AFC? Yes, i do think we will have one of the top 5 d's in the AFC, but more like somewhere in the top 10 in the league.

    I dunno how you could have so much confidence in rookies.

    but top 5 in AFC

    gotta get past the...

    Jets
    Ravens
    Steelers
    Bengals
    Colts
    Texans
    Pats
    ...even the Bills first.

    well SO FAR, in OTA'S they have really been impressing. Nolan has come out and said that Misi is great in coverage, which was a weakpoint for us last year, and Odrick is a big, strong, powerful pass rusher. There will probably be only those 2 rookies starting for us though. I think we can pass up the jills, texans, colts, and the pats. no way we are going around the jets ravens or steelers though.

    yeah who knows. Nolan sucked as a Head Coach, but seems to have this DC thing down pretty well.

    1- Jets: Cream of last years crop seems to have only improved over the offseason. Age and Injuries along the D-line are the biggest concern. The Defensive backs have the talent to make this defense an all time great if they play to thier potential.

    2- Ravens: Yeas they are getting old, but the quality of the youth added in the draft can not be over looked. If healthy, Kindle can become a force outside and Cody is a massive NT in the making. Reed needs to have a healthy year for them.

    3- Packers: Youth, talent, and results are all there. This is a unit that should only get bettter over the next few years. The line backing core is outstanding.

    4- Cowboys: The front 7 is as disruptive as they come, which helps a weaker secondary then any of the other top five teams greatly.

    5- Steelers: they finished just behind the Vikings in most catagories last season, but also suffered through major injuries. If healthy it should be a better defense. Add in the unknow status of the Williams wall entering the season and i give the steelers the edge.

    HM- Vikings: Sacks aplenty and great inside depending on the suspensions.

    HM- Bengals: I think many over rate thier offense, because this is the unit that makes them tick. Very good at the corners. Thier run defense was exposed by the Jets late last season though. Will be intresting to see if they can bring thier A game two years in a row.

    ..... and for Marshall~Law ..... the Phins are not there just yet IMO, but getting damn close. I love your young corners and thing are progressing nicely every where else on your D. I think it could be a real dog fight with you guys for the division this year. The Pats have the crown for now, but the race is goign to be a 3 way war. Poor Buffalo.

    oh I agree with your assessment man, we absolutely are not there!!!! You guys BY FAR have the better defense, hands down..... but I do believe Miami will have a more efficient, and well rounded offense than the Jets in 2010. Not by a whole lot, yet still a little better.

    Nolan is a GOOD DC, nothing more. He's being made into Belichick or Rex for some reason but he's not close to being a great DC. Miami's D will be better b/c of some of the moves they made and b/c Nolan will help improve them but he's not going to transform them into an elite D- that's not what Nolan does.

    Jets
    Bengals (getting odom and maluaga back)
    Cowboys
    Vikings
    Ravens

    What happened to you? Are their two people posting on your profile? You actually make solid points and without homerism. lol

    In terms of the offense, if Sanchez continues his progression from the playoffs and we still dominate the ground we'll be a tough out.

    LOL, still the same old me man, when I first registered people came after me because I'm an enemy poster. Things have simmered down now, and there are a lot of pretty cool folks that post on here.

    If Sanchez continues to improve (which he will) your offense could really explode. Your team has a totally different kind of WR corps as Miami. Aside from Marshall, Miami has the possession type WR's in Camarillo, and Bess with Hartline being the only real deep threat. I think we have found our "Welker" in Davone Bess though.

    The Jets have deep threats all over the field. Holmes, Edwards, Cotchery....... your WR's are the quick speedy get open down field type.

    Yes green bay got some weak teams, but they produced all season. Thier front seven is both very young and very good. Pickett and Raji at the nose is great depth and Rivals any 34 team. The Ends are good, the linebackers are a very good, if not great young core. The CB's are aging, but still productive. They led the league in turnovers, were 2nd in total yards and first against the run.

    They have a very good up and coming front 7. If you were not impressed with thier play, you didn't watch them much.

    I agree with you, which I still am having trouble with. lol

    As far as the speedy receivers go I think that was planned because that goes great with a run first offense. If Mark can put together a good play action that could be killer.

    I"m really looking forward to our matchups this year, hopefully in our only combined venture we can stomp the Pats into oblivion.

    I think your underestimating Cotch's ability to play the slot. With other people finally taking the outsides for us, he's going to become a hell of a posession receiver. Great hands and very good at getting seperation are his best attributes, not his speed for the deep threat. I think we should have a very blalanced passing attack if Sanchez continues to grow.
