Only picking ones I actually saw play... 1. Curtis Martin 2. Joe Klecko 3. Wesley Walker 4. Wayne Chrebet 5. Victor Green
Dennis Byrd... I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was in tears when they carted him off the field. It was awful.
This is very hard, I'll say in no particular order: Chad Pennington- Class, toughness, leadership. Curtis Martin- Class, tougnness, greatness, conducted himself like all people in the spotlight should. Freeman McNeil- Amazing RB, better player than Curtis but he wasn't as tough and had alot of injuries. Al Toon- Amazing toughness, good guy, always made the tough catch. Ken O'Brien- growing up as a QB i loved Kenny, he was very slow but he could throw the ball and he took a beating and always got up. Dennis Byrd- Class, very good player and the nicest celebrity I have ever met both before and after the injury.
I'm surprised more people didn't mention him. It seems like he has been forgotten in Jets land. He was not only the nicest athlete I have ever met but quite possibly one of the nicest people I have ever met.. It sucks what happpened to him, I remember the day like it was yesterday as well.
A few new choices Joe Willie - I made money on that Superbowl Johnny Sample - liked his attitude Waybe Chrebet - he just never stopped trying Vinny - never got the respect he deserved Mike Battle - just for that one return
Emerson Boozer! You're right, I forgot about him. And Matt Snell's wife was my 4th grade teacher! My bad... Great Jets, both.
Man, top 5 Jets for me... hard to do. I want to squeeze in a couple more people. 1. Curtis Martin 2. Joe Klecko 3. Al Toon 4. Freeman McNeil 5. Wayne Chrebet
