My gripe with Dungy (for what it's worth): That he doesn't like the cursing is not surprising. I disagree with the dude calling him a hypocrite because of the Vick thing (kinda misses the point of, you know, Christianity). My issue is, yes he was asked a question. It would have been far better (and the Christian judge not lest ye be judged thing) to simply say something like "Rex and I have different styles" and leave it at that. But then he took it further and condemned Rex, and THEN took it even further and suggested the damn commissioner have a talk with him. For that, Dungy get's a C'MON SON! :/
Maybe if he cursed a little more often he wouldn't have been embarrassed by the Pats in the postseason for 3 years in a row
Tony Dungy was also a terrible coach. He had the greatest QB of all time and had one Super Bowl to show? You notice right when Caldwell came in, he took them to the Super Bowl no problem. Yet with Dungy it was a hard time every year.
Believe whatever you want to believe. But just don't sit there and tell me this guy who thinks a multiple count dog torturer/dog murderer deserves a chance to play in the NFL - should then be turning round and casting judgment on Rex Ryan for saying Fuck and then stating the NFL should intervene to somehow stop Rex Ryan from saying Fuck. Instead of chastising Rex Ryan for saying Fuck, Tony needs to go back to hugging and apologizing for millionaires who liked to kill poor animals. Tony is a FRAUD. He should apologize immediately. Well then who Dungy really is should wake the hell up and tell the person who was on TV making all sorts of judgments about Coach Ryan to APOLOGIZE. That was some ridiculous shit that Dungy pulled. He should be ashamed of himself - if he is such a wonderful person he should realize that he said some really thoughtless things and that he should apologize. Who the hell does Tony Dungy think he is? Getting all high and mighty b/c an NFL Coach likes to drop a few F-bombs to make his points. That is a bunch of BS from Dungy. He should have stated that Ryan is an excellent coach and left it at that.
Tony DUNG is an overrated dickwad. Basically stood on the sidelines thumping his bible while Manning and Tom Moore ran the team. He did jack shit and had little to no impact as head coach
let tony be it ia an opinion. he is a statesman in the nfl and a religious man and as such it is his opinion. My opinion I like it it brings a fire that is needed. there are too many Dungy's but not enough Ryan'ss
Tony shouldn't disrespect Rex. Thats all. And Tony knows better - he realizes he got sucked into making a stupid comment. He should apologize.

I don't think Dungy should be so judgemental, not everyone shares the same views as him. This topic isn't even a serious threat to the league, it is just personal preference in Dungy's case. There is no way that a few "F" bombs on HBO is going to tarnish this league in any way. That is just false. Dungy has every right to feel the way he does, but he shouldn't be trying to push his beliefs on everyone else as if this is an absolute unforgivable crime that will ulimately corrupt this league. No, it wont. I personally think that Dungy should just be him, do his thing. Rex should be him, and do his thing as well. Simple as that. People are so quick to judge. Let it go.
