this season just has an ugly feel about it.... we cut players who were good locker room guys and replaced with 1 year rentals in many cases. I wounder if the brain trust are now wishing they had paid Ellis and Woody just for the value they brought with regards to respect and experience. our Captains are now a less than fantastic qb and a wr with a less than perfect track record compared to Ellis, Woody etc last yea. We seem to have lost our identity.
After the comments made by Holmes you knew that the OL would get asked and it looks like at least one member wasn't all that pleased with with Holmes (and perhaps management). Having players start to point fingers at each other publicly isn't the best tact. It only creates more internal tension. I hope Ryan sits everyone down to tell them all to STFU and worry about their own jobs. The Jets don't have a monolopoly on talent so the talent has to play as a team. If their goal is the SB they have to play and act like it's the most important thing in their lives - and sadly they are not doing that this year.
After Holmes opened his mouth the last time Sanchez said going forward these matters would be kept in house. I guess Holmes and Moore didn't get that memo. Mangold stayed classy as always. Said something like Holmes is a competitive guy so I know where he's coming from. That or Mangold knows who in particular Holmes is talking about, Hunter Doocockie, and maybe Moore feels guilty about something. Moore hasn't allowed 1 sack though.
I dont know if Rex did it when he made Holmes Captain, if he didn't shame on him, but he needs to sit down with Holmes and explain what it means to be a Captain. Holmes has admitted he's never been a Captain before, at any level. And then Holmes should apologize in front of the whole team..Criticism of your teammates, coaches, mgmnt needs to be kept in house, not out in the press.
Holmes is right, and he's only stating the obvious. I don't see why Moore is so worked up. The line play has been bad. Take it like a man. It's not as if he's saying the line completely sucks, he's just saying they need to do a better job of pass protection. If the problem is that Holmes should have addressed his comments directly to Moore and the other guys, I can see that. But ESPN keeps making mountains of mole hills.
Holmes should stop commenting and let his play do the talking. Taking shots at your teammates in the media isn't going to solve anything.

Brandon Moore needs to pull himself a nice cold pint of toughen the fuck up. Along with Santonio Holmes and every other cunt in that locker room - shut up, man up and play better.
You wouldn't like it if someone who wasn't doing much on the field told the press that you were sucking.
