A buddy of mine who's close to the Jets said that the LT deal will be announced later today. Looks like he's picking the Jets. Not sure the terms of the deal.

Honestly I think it's because the Burt nightmare is still fresh in everybodies minds...big difference as Burt was brought here to start because we knew Clemmens sucked and Chad was a walking injury. Like you said LT is being here to primarily be a 3rd down/goal line back and provide an outlet for Sanchez to catch the ball. I still haven't seen one logical poster claiming he was going to rush for 1000 yards and make the All Pro Team.

 

As much as i'd like to see LT in our backfield this year...i hope Tanny doesn't get into a bidding war with Minny over him.

The Jets can EASILY fill that role in the draft this year......LT does have the leadership quality....but i'm sure others will step up in the lockeroom.
