No he doesn't have the burst any more, but he's still great near the goaline.

    he had 12 TDs.

Being a goal line back hurts the YPC.

The article on page 19 says he has the burst on the perimeter, which is what the Jets are looking for.

We have a between the tackles guy in Greene. LT is a complimentary back at this point.

we will know by late tonight.

Its tough getting a play by play while courting is going on.

Right now they are probably in a car looking at homes or something. Or that was earlier and contract talks have begun.

And when the report comes in, its not going to be who LT signs with. Its been reported he's going to go home with his wife and talk things over about the two teams.

LT will have a decision by monday the latest. That's my guess.

Don't judge RB's by TD's. Lenwhale White got a lot of TD's with CJ doing most of the work for him two years ago. It's not hard to stuff it in for a yard or two. He wasn't only their goal line back. He got the ball a lot and was terrible. If he's our Kevin Faulk, that's ok, but if Greene goes down he'll be our main guy and possibly average less than three yards a carry. I'd rather go rookie here.

LT's yards per carry were as much of a result of his diminishing talents as it was SD's OL. Sproles only averaged 3.7 YPC as well. Just keep that in mind.

They're having dinner at the Trump Country Golf Club in Jersey tonight. I'm pretty sure Tanny is going to try to sign him right then and there.

It's a good thing for NY teams when the player has to go talk with the Mrs. before he decides on a team. I mean where would Mrs. Tomlinson like to live Minnesota or New York??

I'm not counting a player who was only three years into a career. Martin was far from a lock as a future HOF player in his third season.

You can't tell how much of our running game was the back and what part of the running game was the line. I mean we had the best rushing attack in the league with a 31 year old RB and a 3rd round pick. If I remember correctly, LT started to suck after he lost Lorenzo Neal. Who knows how good he'll be with our line.

yet the guy everyone wants to leave for a 2nd rd pick averaged 5 YPC behind perhaps the worst OL I have ever seen in 2007.

You wouldn't want LenDale White on this team??

  20. Don't ask that question to Mrs. Antoine Winfield...

Many of us long sufferers are still bitter about that whole ordeal. Would love to stick it back to Minny alittle bit this time around.
