The Chargers "dynasty type" of team died the night the Jets beat them in SD last January. That team definitely had at least two super bowl runs in them if not for sh*tty coaching and a blowhard GM with an overinflated ego.
He's right about the coaching, Norv Turner is a horrible coach, I have no idea how that guy is still coaching over there
I wouldn't be surprised at all if he were using something like that. I wouldn't be surprised if most NFL players were though. I mean we figured he'd be better behind our o-line but he literally looks 5 years younger.
Indeed. Tomlinson might not be a Jet for long but he definitely is a Jet worth remembering after his playing days come to an end. Not just the skills but the work ethic & all the positive stuff he says & does. Just don't get why the Chargers trashed him so much. Just goes to show what a bunch of losers they are.
Dolphins fans remind of the FBI agent in Boardwalk empire. They sit there with a picture of Rex Ryan and whip their back with a belt in order to not go gay for him. Miami fans need to just accept their love of the Jets and openly masturbate to their obsession. What a bunch of gays.
Simpletons! Seriously, it was funny for a few days, maybe even a week or two. After 3 months? You guys are in serious need of more diverse entertainment if you're still giggling to yourselves like little school girls over Rex's quip.
I'm not suprised Thomlinson thinks this is his best opportunity for a superbowl. The Jets are stacked on both sides of the ball. There are 5-1 and so far the defense hasn't played as well as they will play from here on out. And the offense will continue to get better as well with Santonio Holmes becoming more integrated into the offense and with Shonne Green starting to run like he did last year. Now if Thomlinson gets hurt that doesn't necessarily mean the Jets won't get to the superbowl. They'll no longer have a threat in the passing game coming out of the backfield but they will still be able to run and pass, and put points on the board.
