One flash in the pan game is not SOMETHING, it's something, but in the grand scheme, T'aint nuThin'.

    I c what u did with Mangini...lemme try...Belichocha. Yup, that's fun.

And for the price that he will command, I don't think we're gonna go for it.

Right. After you compared him to an internet badass with a similar knee injury.

He will be back. The Jets should go ahead and sign Cassell he's already better then Favre right now

Excellent points. I think if Cassell stays with the Pats (and Belichik does also) then he's got a real shot at being a strong NFL QB. If he comes here he's 50/50 to just have been a flash in the pan.

Sounds like a bunch o' crap hyped by the Pats' publicity machine. Next year Brady will make his "miracle" comeback. Have the Pats EVER been straight about injuries? Rediculous.

This story's genesis has nothing to do with the Patriots. God, reading this board, you'd think the team was run by the Illuminati under the direction of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion and were responsible for 9/11. They're just a goddamned football team.

I think what's more important than Brady's injury is the fact that a guy who never took an NFL snap looks like an identical twin on the field as Brady. Sorry, but if Matt Cassle can play as well as Brady....anyone can. Hell, JP Losman would look like a Superstar in that system and thats saying a ton. Bottom line, if Brady never returns the Pats don't miss a beat at the QB position.

Cassel's QB rating is a solid 28 points lower than Brady's was on the same team last season. I hate this train of thought.

Maybe it just means the Patriots are outstanding at drafting and developing under the radar quarterbacking prospects. I loathe the "system" talk. The QB is the guy who runs the damn system out on the field.
