Hey Jerkoff, "Spygate" was the incident where you fucking cheaters taped the Jets in 2007 and Belli and the team got fined and docked a first round draft pick.

The other incident we are talking about was not called "Spygate", it was your fucking cheaters taping of the Rams walk through before the 2002 SB, tapes of which were given to Goodell by Matt Walsh and subsequently burned. And the Pats won that SB because of what they saw on those tapes- new every play that was coming.

You're team has cheated so many times you tools can't even keep your scandals straight.

Fucking asshole cheating bunch of scumbags.

Very convenient .... I wonder why he would recant after turning over the tapes and then the league destroying them.

Oh and just so you know the league never denied destroying those tapes, I believe you can find quite from Roger Goodell along the lines of "It was the right thing to do" .

I stand by my post that you don't destroy evidence that would exonerate you, the NFL knew that if what was on those tapes incriminated the Pats in anyway the nightmare they would have to endure would be a million times worse then the unanswered questions because they destroyed them. Better to destroy them and leave doubt as opposed to have them get out and expose a 3 time champion of arguably the biggest sporting event in the world as cheaters and a complete farce.

The NFL knew they would never recover if those tapes actually showed what many believe was on them. Obviously by destroying them they have plowed along just fine.

I've read some hidden stuff that comes out on the pats board saying they didn't have the battery packs to film with them, so they couldn't film. However they were there and watched what they did in secret.

THey learned new plays...........so ultimately if they didn't tape, they recalled new plays .

    CHEATERS FOREVER!!! 2000 - ??

no rule because no precedent for this, but def shady and illegitimate and counts as cheating in my book.

    Convenient indeed.

"If I had a reason to want to go public or tell a story, I could have done it before this even broke," he said. "I could have said everything rather than having [New York Jets head coach Eric] Mangini be the one to bring it out."[35] Walsh claimed he was bound by a confidentiality agreement he signed with the Patriots,[36] while Walsh had not been contacted by the Patriots or the NFL until after both The New York Times and ESPN published quotes from him on February 1, 2008, he said that he was contacted by media outlets following the September 2007 incident, but had sought legal advice to "protect him and his family."[4] The Patriots later denied that such a confidentiality arrangement existed.

    You're joking right?

The tapes were burned--you know--the evidence.

What anyone says after the deals were cut and the evidence destroyed is all bullshit.

Come on, don't be like the other Pats trolls. You haven't been to date.

also might explain Goodell's hard line with the football deflation...

Goodell behind closed doors to Kraft "Come on man, you know we pushed a lot under the rug by burning the tapes with spygate... we have to draw a line somewhere or people will be questioning the very integrity of our game..."

Btw what else is Goodell going to say after HE destroyed all the evidence.

    For absolutely no reason.

Other than to bury the story.

    Go ask Marshall Faulk.

Nothing says, 'by God, you've made it!' like flying in your personal 'Jet' with Ben Affleck, Affleck's nanny/mistress and 4 tainted Super Bowl rings*; all while your wife disguises herself in burqua to have her tits tightened up. #patriotway

Florio fanning the pats propaganda as usual, but we've all been booing Goodell for almost 10 years now

Goodell arrives in court to “chorus of boos”

Commissioner Roger Goodell has arrived at the federal courthouse in Manhattan. And even though New York City is a haven for football fans who hate the Patriots, Goodell heard it from those who showed up.

According to the New York Daily News, Goodell entered amid a “chorus of boos.”

It’s not really a surprise, and it’s no surprise that the audio was omitted from the footage that aired on NFLN. Goodell routinely was booed at Radio City Music Hall for the draft, and some believe that Goodell’s annual New York City reception was one of the reasons for moving it out of town.

This time around, the NFL picked New York, filing the first lawsuit and blocking the NFLPA’s effort to get back to Minnesota. Within the next few hours, there’s a chance the NFL will regret the decision for reasons other than Goodell’s reception upon entering the building.

Everything coming from Judge Berman's mouth is pro-Brady. This suspension is getting overturned.
