did you even read the article it is not as damning as you think. Never mind he has the support of the other franchises there will be another counter suit. If Brady had a hair on his lying ass he would just admit it

The explanation for that ^ is that it is bullshit. Schefter was 'Morted' by a league source. Meaning 'fed lies to try and influence public opinion'. Rappaport says what Schefter said was bogus, and so does Brady' team.

The NFL lies. They dupe reporters with lies. And they are now caught in yet another lie.

Rappaport was also the one who just floated that whole 'Eli wants to be the highest paid QB' nonsense and got publicly shot down by Eli.

From what I've heard it seems like this judge is really anti-NFL (which isn't a surprise cause the NFL ALWAYS gets killed in court) and ripping the investigation at every turn. I'm still bracing for Brady being exonerated.

I can't see this judge ruling in Brady's favor, and I don't see the NFL making any deals. This will go on for awhile.

This isn't a troll question, but when you Jets fans state that a United States Judge is paid off to rule one way or another on FOOTBALL of all things, why do you have trouble thinking that maybe Wells' was paid off to come to a predetermined conclusion?

If you believe Kraft can buy a judge why has noone here brought up that Goodell bought Wells?

I'm just playing devils advocate, I don't really read this thread for unbiased replies on either side. The main Pats Fan poster in this thread is a total fucking idiot and is only doing this to get you guys mad, I do hope you realize that.

As a pats fan I drink our koolaid, and as Jets fans you drink your own, neither one of us can be reasonably unbiased on a subject between two teams who hate each other on and off the field. I guess I also answered my own question with this statement.

I know you guys can be a bit dense, but you surely can't have failed to realise that he's not a Jets fan yet.

Do you believe what you write? Now the nfl us lying nevermind science. The nfl has the right to suspend him by agreement with the nflpa. The truth will come out and that may be the worst the thing for the cheators. And don't think for a second the other nfls owners are going to let this slide. Watch Brady will be suspended for some period the the nflpa will loose face and power over this.

because what motivation would Goodell have to tear down the golden boy of his league?

if you are going to have a wacky conspiracy theory there needs to be at least something plausible or else its just nonsense

Because bias aside this is going to end exactly like this is board now. Enough circumstantial evidence that no one could ever believe the Pats did nothing wrong. The Judge or deal brokered will leave him just exhonerated enough that Pats fans can say see "see they did nothing wrong you're just haters." And any time Brady comes up, when he goes into the hall of fame, when discussing all time players etc, this never ending back and fourth will continue.

so the nfl lied and brady did not tell the guys to deflate the balls then explain why the balls were not equally deflated.... science dictates that they both must be deflated the same amount.
Fuck that they cheated and were caught again and Brady is taking one for the team but Brady does not want to be the one labeled a cheater. i'll take the suspension but only for hampering not for cheating. Bullcrap dude is guilty as the day is long

The judge does appear very much against the NFL at this point, but some things to consider from SI.

thanks for posting. I was wondering about that. Also, being critical towards the NFL could just be his way of pushing the 2 sides towards their own resolution. All things considered, I'm guessing he'd rather have the two sides come to an agreement together so he doesn't have to rule. He's putting pressure on the NFL to come to compromise with Brady & the Union but that doesn't necessarily mean that if he has to, that he will rule against them

    Good point.

I want to add that I very much want the judge to rule in favor of the NFL, not because I think it makes any difference in whether Brady is a cheater (he is), but because I don't want smug Pats fans to have the satisfaction and false belief of exoneration. I will be disappointed if the judge gives them that.
