According to Adam Schefter his season is over - it's a 'Breaking News' headline on NFL.com similar to the headline when we signed Favre
^ Heres the link: This isn't real is it?? http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80a95089&template=with-video&confirm=true this is a dream...
Well I gotta say I hate to see a qb like that go down to injury. I can't feel too bad for the guy though. It is going to be rough laying in Giselles bed recovering.
Injuries are part of the deal in the NFL. Brady's career has been blessed so far but the blessed part is over. I'm guessing one of two things happens at this point: a tight 3 team race won by 9-7 or 10-6 at the end like 2002, or the Bills blow the division out. Obviously I'm hoping we get the first result.
Espn ESPN just reported during the Met game that The Pats will be looking at Tim Rattay and Chris Simms this week.
Two Special Teams TDs... Those don't happen its 20-10 against Seattle, which is still a convincing win. Those 2 games against Buffalo are everything.
Okay I am not going to get my hopes up. But if he hasn't had a mri yet how can it be confirmed that he is done.
You don't need official reports to confirm Brady is done. Look at the tape, his knee moved in a direction it shouldn't move in, and he was planted. Anyone who has torn their ACL knows all to well what that means.
Why are we discussing punkassposterboy ( we would kick their ass anyway ) The Bills are the problem now.
we now have a qb who can stretch the field, lots of guys who can catch, and an o-line who can block. if suttton can get his head on straight, our defense can match up against them. by the time we play them, favre will have the entire playbook and plenty of experience with the team and vice-versa.:jets::bills_suck:
I've read this entire thread and while I can understand your frustration(s) with losing to the Patriots many times, the "conspiracy theory" is the most ridiculous bunch of bunk in this thread. Post the link for that will you? FWIW: I would never cheer, wish or pray for Favre to be injured. Are you people THAT sick? It's just football - a game- you don't wish for other teams' players to be injured. At least not if you have an ounce of class. And Brett favre is 38 years old. You'd better think about that and exactly how he lost to Eli last January before you start calling for the AFC East title. (Or do the Bills not exist in your minds?) Yeah, yeah, whatever; I'm a "troll" for not wanting NFL players to be hurt.
you're not a troll, you have a point. Perhaps there are the crazies who are saying that its a conspiracy, but logic prevails - this shit happens. As for Brady being hurt, yes thats terrible - but its the rejoicing of that difficulty being removed through his injury which people celebrate. We celebrate the chance for a win, not the end of career. It just looks bad.... or at least thats what I'm doing.
I guess. Seems like some people around here are openly happy the man seriously hurt his knee. It's not good for the game when a once-in-a-generation player suffers a career threatening injury, period. I have no idea why some people hate celebrities they've never met in their life so much.
