Well those that you mention are in my garbage part of my post. As for Richardson I would suspect he was brought in to assist in the blocking for TJ ala Neal was for LT in SD otherwise he to would fall into the garbage pile. I have to say that pointing a finger at the Richardson acquire which is such a minor move does not strenghten your argument. Faneca, Wood, CJ & the one year Arizona flash are the important parts of this years pick ups

The Arizona Flash is the scarriest of them all. Faneca might be one of the best pickups we have made in recent memory. Richardson is not a bad pickup but a position that will have to be upgraded sooner than later. Wood was benched on the Cardinals and had to come and play a new position so that might send off warning bells as well. Out of Curiosity if you ran the show who would you take with this years number one pick if it were up to you?

Actually I wish I could answer your question but I am not a draft junkie so I have to say I do not know. For sure though it would not be somebody like the Brick again. We certainly need some game breakers on O & on D players that can make stops in crunch time. If KC is the QB we also need WRs that can go catch that rock & scare the other side.

I would also include DeW, Ellis, Thomas, Barrett, Barton in your argument as they are IMHO garbage players that belong in the dump not on a team that supposely is going somehere

I agree that all of the above should hit the scrap heap. At the end of the day I want us to pick somebody really early that can get at Brady and a Reciever in the second round that can go get the rock If Kellen is the starter. The prob with Brick is where he was drafted. If he were a low first rounder or second he would be adequate.

    1. On D:

    Jets sorely lack: CB2 spot
Jets need serious improvement on: FS/ILB2, any type of Pass Rush.

Still untested: How good are the DL going to be? If they turn out "not good" then all the talk is busted. If Calvin Pace doesn't perform as well as the FO thought he would, then again, the D is busted.

    2. On O:

Jets sorely lack: HR threat on QB Spot. (I'm sorry. I'm not sold on Kellen.)
Jets need serious help on: WR

Still untested: How good is the revamped OL going to be? If they are not as good as they look on paper, all the "improvement" talk is, again, busted.

1 player short? Yeah. Right. Like that's really going to be the case.

Oh...I did'nt know we won 6 games last yr did we? 8-10 wins are decent and we should be somewhere there. But 6-8 wins is a bit embarrassing considering the talent we picked up in the off season (ok we wont mention the $$$ but the talent)

Pretty much, if they take offense first round with McFadden, They'll take a defensive player in round 2. On the flip side if they take Gholston or a coner in round 1, I can see them getting a receiver in the 2nd. I personally like Gholston and a receiver like Hardy or Sweed who I've seen slip alittle. Would also like McFadden and Dre Moore so I'd be happy with either

True, we can just trade 'em in for some better players. It's really that simple, I don't why this FO doesn't get that.

I mean...it's not like those guys are even solid players...solid players are usually just below Pro Bowl caliber...none of those guys can be described as such.

That said, if we don't get at least a 3rd for these really garbage guys, I'm gonna flip my shit.
