Let's just hope for a game where a call doesn't end our season... Or theirs. With the new OT rules in place, if this game goes to OT I'd hate for someshit to happen. Also, we all know they let the COLTS O-Line get away w/ ridiculous holding so I think we should expect it. Things I'm looking for: - How much Contact they will allow on the DB's/WR's - If our O-Line gets away w/as much shit Remember, last year when their DB hit Mark very late after a hand off and they called a penalty on us for holdin, Rex was LIVID. Fuk yeah if that's true. That crew is one of if not the best in the NFL.... I remember him doing a few JETS vs PATRIOTS games and every time it was fairly called.
The Officiating today was what we expcted from this crew. Absolutely on point ! Cole touching the goal line on the punt, The No call on the receivers not 1 holding call on their O-line...that was expected also since we really didn't blitz as much. In the playoffs the refs tend to call more PI & IC but it was good today. They also tend to let the crown influence calls...not this crew. Absolutely stone balls. Then again, COLTS fans are fukin dumb and don't really understand the calls.
Well, one thing that bothers me today already is now the NFL has gotten involved w/ the "Trash Talking". They have issued warnings to the teams pertaining to it. Why? Is it because Bart now pretty much says he's gonna smash Welkers face in? I just feel that they are going to prevent us from playing "too physical" Not dirty per se, just Physical. If Welker or Brady gets smashed, It will be an automatic flag. In the Last game Wilfork was caught several times grabbing and twisting helmets but no flags... I'm just hoping they don't take the footballl out of today's game.
So far, an ok called game other than the Pats O-line Pulling our D-Lineman to the ground a few times and a FG that may have been good....which has still YTBD... They are letting them play
Amazingly well called game today... I could not remember a call that was missed or called too tight. I am glad they let us play....
Woodhead was on the ground blocking right where he threw it. IMO it was still IG but according to the ref's he was thrwoing it to an eligible receiver
I actually think the Pats were offsides on that last onside kick attempt. That being said, I'm still amazed that Holmes TD didn't have to go to instant replay. GREAT vision by the Ref there.
They are obviously letting them play in the NFL.....and I love it! That said, This means an aggressive STEELERS D will be hitting...Hopefully it'll be clean. Last gave vs them there was several bad calls that went against us...non holding calls, bad spots, missed Illegal Formations...and i've watched this game sevral times over. Todays crew? Ed Hoculi.
