34 Against the Patriots on the Road.
37 (I think) against Tennesee on the Road
52 (I think) against the Cardinals at home.

3 of our top 5 point outputs have been against three playoff caliber teams. I thinkt he better term is: Our offense seems to be able to score points against good oponents, then fall it's face against crappy opponents. Outside of a 47 point output against the Rams, the Jets have not been able to score on any team that was crap, but have done just fine against teams that are good.

Even what seems like the playoff bound chargers we managed to get 29 on the board. Just look at the scores this season: The better the oponent, the better our offense plays.

The last three SB teams all had dominating WR who came up big in the SB. The Giants this year may well not make the SB because of Buress?

The Pats won a SB where the WR was the MVP and they have always had better recieving than us during their SB runs and they went 16 and 0 and became a contender again after getting Welker and Moss when their team was starting to slide. The Ravens were a primarily a run team that played D, they also had one of the great pass catching TE in NFL history on that team and ran a two TE set to run the ball. The Bucs had two outstanding WR on that team in McCardell and Johnson who they traded for to put them over the hump to get the SB. Both of them were far better than our No. 1 now.

We have a mediocre run game and weak WR not a good formula for making it to a SB, not to mention a bad defense. SB teams need to be good in all areas and having a WR who can get the respect of the D is an important part of both running the ball and controlling the clock.

Forget the big fast WR, what this team needs is a WR slow enough to never get underthrown by a Favre pass.

I dont blame Coles or Cotch, Once again its back on the coaches.. there no consistancy to what we do, no style, no idientity.. they think there cute by making unique gameplans each week featuring noone.. This is a disaster and it has crippled our best players from ever getting into a rythem.. Fire the whole staff except for Westhoff...
