We knew from the playoffs that Sanchez has the ability and the balls to step up and play well against good teams--and on the road. Every game isn't going to be an ace, he's 23, but we know he can do it. As he gets more experience he'll become more consistent, but I don't see how anyone can be complaining. At this stage of a lot of guys' careers most haven't looked this good on the level the Jets and Sanchez have been playing at. Many haven't played at all.
Yep. The game yesterday was his best. By the numbers his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best games were games 1, 2 and 3 last year. Great step forward in a big game and probably still some inconsistency to go before he fully matures. Peyton Manning had some terrible games in the playoffs after he had been in the NFL for 5+ years.
I'm wondering if you bothered to watch the AFC Championship Game last year. And for the record ... He's played 20 games in his career, and 15 of his 22 ints have come in only 4 games. Yes they count, but this idea that he's getting picked off all the time in every game is ridiculous. Most games (16) he's been fine ... 7 picks.
