If we're the only suitors and he hasn't signed yet WTF are we still doing at the table? Disrespect is disrespect and no player who disrespects the team he is signing with is going to be any good for them.

 

Perhaps Paradis never wanted to come to NY, who knows. Could've had Winters recruit him. If he strikes out on Paradis and Bell, it's not completely over for Mac. Could rebound nicely if he can put together a solid draft and find some 2nd tier FA players that can contribute.

 

Would he really look much worse than McCown did last year?

 

They fired the head coach and kept the GM on a Prove It basis and the guy is desperate to make a splashy signing because he's trying to save his job.

As a Jets fan I have no objection to players disrespecting the Jets organization. It might even be a plus.

Jets set a deadline to have an answer from Bell. Being that he's has blown off virtually every single deadline that was ever imposed on him they should just announce that they're suspending him proactively...

I agree with others, something wasn’t right with the Paradis situation.
