There wasn't a Cash 4 Clunkers program last season to make that shirt make sense.

I understand that. At the time I didn't feel like typing out an entire explanation. I figured anyone with limited common sense would get it.

Jesus, tough crowd. He also does not actually think that Brett Favre is an automobile that someone would trade him a few grand for.

You got a cheap laugh from me.

I don't understand the negative reaction towards Favre. Having him play last season was still better than watching Kellen or Chad last season.

Ahahaha...that's great. To reference one of the above posters, I don't hate Favre either. We weren't SB bound without him, and it forced us to draft a potential franchise QB in an otherwise weak draft.

I do have a problem with Favre. Maybe if he could have done the right thing and sit when he was hurt instead of protect his streak we would have made the playoffs.

Kellen would have easily outplayed Favre in those final games.

That was never going to happen and the FO knew that when they traded for him. He had and still has the longest streak of consecutive starts in NFL history. The only way he would have pulled himself out was if he had a broken arm or broken leg. He had played with far worse than a bad shoulder before. It was up to Mangini to see what was wrong and sit him down. I am sure that is one of the reasons Mangini is gone.

I find a few things wrong with this thread:

    1. This doesn't have anything to do with the Jets
    2. You were obviously so excited about the possibilty of this being named "thread of the year" that you didn't both to check your spelling.
    3. What Abyzmul said.
    4. Fail.
