Get used to it. With mediocre QBs getting $15-$20 million per season, soon no average fan will be able to afford to go to games or to hold season tickets. The only live people at games will be the wealthy and corporations who buy blocks of tickets (again the wealthy).
Unfortunately, I think you are right but it seems to be the way all professional sport is going. Have you seen the price for some college games recently
Nice... trade away our favorite player and raise the ticket prices.. we'll be sure to attend every sunday!
there are plenty of morons out there willing to pay it. on a week to week basis when their favorite team comes to new jersey and they go to a ticket broker. because you can be pretty confident the jets are pushing off their unsold tickets to the brokers so they can lie to us all and say they only sell season tickets.
Wait, the tickets went up $5 and we cut Cromartie and we get this. OMG, this is like a Kim Kardashian site. Seriously, if you need to worry about $5 you should be working and not watching football and if Cro is your favorite player you need to watch a little closer. I am ok with the $5 increase I will pay another $10 if we get to the championship game and $25 for a super bowl.
i hope to be able to laugh at you after a championship if the prices only go up 25 bucks. i have a sneaking suspicion they will go up quite a bit more than that. im willing to bet that woodrow will be back to the 10% a year plan in the near future. everyone has kind of gotten through and over the shit show the new stadium is, most of the old timers who hate it are dealing with it or have left.
oh yeah and fuck people who cant afford 1100 to 2500 a year for season tickets. those poor scumbags. smh....
