Um, RogerBlaze and NYJunc are two examples of people starting these kinds of threads

  2. Every time a thread like this is made..I smile.

My Yankees maybe out...but they continue to haunt Met fans into forgetting about their own team

    I'll let junc defend himself.

I don't think RogerBlaze falls under my description of a "normal Yankee fan". He would do anything to get a rise out of any group of people regardless of affiliation.

Since you are used to this...what does one do with all this free time? I mean, as a Mets fan you really are an expert on free time in October. Any tips?

Threads like this just prove that yankee fans our way more classier than met fans. Oh well, its your time in the spotlight. So enjoy it now and stop obsessing about another team.

Your showing a total lack of class. Some Yankee fans here supported the Mets all year and don't need to here this from someone who obviously is not use to see his team succeed. After all of the years trhe Yankees finished ahead of the Mets, you get one year and all of a sudden you think youre all hot shit.

With my last post being a little edgy, I want to clarify that was directed only towards there fair weather Met fans with zero class and no idea how to properly celebrate a playoff win. To the real Met fans, you know who you are, good luck in the LCS and it's good to see success still be carried out in NYC.

I don't need to defend myself especially from an idiot w/ an American flag burning in his avatar. my post record speaks for itself, sure sometimes I have fun and goof around w/ the Met fans but I don't run into their game threads or rub it in after they lose.

    I really can't stand this.

I have nothing but respect for the Yankee fans who actually know what their talking about and aren't as ignorant. I just want to know why the Yankee fans can't treat Met fans the same way.

Stop acting like ALL Mets fans are like Eyedea.

Are you trying to say people with a high post count are far more superior to people with a low post count?

    Post count means nothing Junc.

you are right.. their are some met fans that have respect for other teams. Its just so hard to see it with the gyc and other threads like this. Fitm you are one of the classier met fans.

No, when I said post record I don't mean # of posts I meant that people know what I am about. I do have fun and joke back and forth alot but I never rub it in after the Mets lose or aftre the Yankees win and people on here know that.

Maybe, but didn't you go on a whole 'Did the Mets celebrate too much? campaign around the time of the Pedro and Duque news, when it looked like the Yankees were going to roll to a title? The jist of that was kind of jab. Like.....look, the Mets were jumping up and down and now they are going to lose without enough starting pitching and they real team in NY is acting calm cool and collected. That's how I read it anyway. The loss of those guys could still bite the Mets, but you did kind of get owned with the Mets sweeping and the Yankees going down hard, competition notwithstanding. You never saw this coming.

I thought they were over the top w/ their celebration, that had nothing to do w/ rubbing it in over injuries. I wish Pedro wouldn't ahve gotten hurt b/c he's not a pressure performer. i did think ytou wouldn't make the WS after the 2 injuries but i am changing now. I also said I thought you could bash your way to the WS but I thought the PS would come back to bite you but to the Mets credit they played great and offered no excuses. I never was giddy about your injuries, i would NEVER do that. I did make fun of yuor celebration and I would do it again, they celebrated like they won the WS.

Great example, I chose not to post in the Mets clinching thread to take that off topic. It was a matter that needed to be posted about and again I ask you to fins some proof I rub it in when the Mets have lost or when the Yankees win. Until then shut up so I don't have to see your piece of garbage avatar.

#1 You said it sarcastically (and you were runing the NL Thread by saying the Mets celebration was excessive when the Yankees celebreated just as much after LOSING)

#2 A competitor like Pedro being dissapointed that he knew he wasn't 100% and couldn't go after it was posted multiple times in the IGT"was a matter that needed to be posted about?" Dude it was nothing but a jab at the Mets and Pedro
