First of all, I think Hackett's father was arguably the worst coach the Jets has ever had (and that's saying something). That said, nobody is going to be able to gain yards and score points with the worst QB and Offensive Line in the league ... and that's what we have right now. "Oh, but we have all-pro talent at the skill positions!!!" <--- completely meaningless with no offensive line.

Just so everyone gets it, the OL is clearly the main talking point of the Za%*TrUTheRs. No true Jets fan is that stupid. And Jets fans, they uh… well we’ve watched a lot of bad football. We’re essentially experts in it.
You're nuts if you think this offensive line is anything but Bottom 5 in the league right now. Zach is Bottom 1, but that doesn't make the OL average.
For what it's worth, if I was insistent on playing ZW, I would absolutely force him to run a no-read, 1 man pattern offense. Just tell him who he has to throw the ball to in the huddle. No deviations. Three step drop and either throw it to the one receiver or throw it out of bounds. 50% of ZW is he doesn't throw it to the first open guy - he scrambles around and throws off his back foot hoping someone magically becomes open.
