Saleh and Co. will get fired after the last day of 2022. Kotite got 2 years. Gase got 2 years. Saleh will get 2 years. I do not think Douglas will get a second contract at this rate either. His draft class of 2021 looks ok save Wilson's slot should have been traded for more picks. His draft class of 2020 looks like shit. Some of his signings/extensions look bad, especially all that money he recently gave to franklin-myers, who probably would not start elsewhere. I don't know what they see in ryan griffin either.
I've been of the opinion of letting the season play out and see how the team progresses. Losses are understandable to some extent, but they've had way too many completely non-competitive losses and the defense looks like one of the worst in NFL history. This team is short on talent, but they shouldn't look this bad. What is happening with the DL?? There's more going on here than lack of talent. It's almost shocking at this point and I'm at a loss to explain it. Welp, 7 more games... If these sorts of games continue, Saleh and his staff may actually be in trouble.
