What's the difference between the Eagles developing QBs and the Jets? If these are true, then damn we suck at developing quarterbacks.
Here we go again. So, if I interpret this right, Geno was told to throw it to a particular receiver, which we are supposed to believe no other coach ever did before in NFL history, and because of that, Geno made a bad pass directly to the opponent, and this is an example of bad quarterback development? The media will never stop putting this type of shit out there. We've got to stop falling for it.
I never said the Jets are the only team in the NFL with bad coaching. This IS an example of bad quarterback development. You cannot predetermine where to throw the ball in this league. You should have an idea, but that's when decision-making comes into play. Mark's color wristband bullshit? Remember that?
If you want to illustrate the there has been bad QB development during the Rex Ryan era, there are far better examples to cite than this. I don't believe a coach like Rex can develop a young QB and would have been better off with an experienced QB all along. That being said, my point was that the tweet you cited was BS. It takes the play totally out of context. It absolves Geno of any blame. Do you really think Geno was ordered to throw to Harvin no matter what? Do you really think that Geno was not instructed in the decision-making process? My beef is with the tweet, and the knee jerk reaction we have to it.
Now that Sanchez is no longer Jet, you should take your Sanchez dick-sucking to another forum Jstokes.
