I really like the idea of trading back in this draft, if the top players on our board arent there. If we could end up with a late 1st, two 2nds and a 3rd, I really think we could fill a lot of holes- possibly Branch, Mercilus, Perry or Hightower in the 1st, and there are a ton of players in the 2nd/3rd round range that could help this team- Doug Martin, Lamar Miller, Sanu, Osemele, Iloka, Harrison, Tru Johnson, Criner... the list goes on. I think we could get 4 solid contributors, if not starters.
Exactly. What I want most is 3 or god forbid even 4 picks in the first two rounds (if we can trade up our 3rd round pick in the process). If there isn't a magic bean anywhere, I'd rather just take 3 or 4 beans thank you very much.
This is something I can get on board with. Trade down enough to get another second round pick and the biggest weaknesses can be addressed by round three.
