Trust me, I'm not pounding the table for Kroft's return but once we get to TE3 on a roster, it's nice to just have someone solid, which I think Kroft is. If they sign a starter in FA and draft 2 of McBride, Otton, Ruckert, Dulcich, or even Jelani Woods, I'd be totally fine with not resigning Kroft. Starting to like Jelani Woods as a target for us with any of our final 4 picks in the 4th/5th round.
The one thing JD and Jets are not going to do is sign FA with injury history. I was reading and article and Saleh and JD didn’t like the amount of time his FA signings missed. I know Jet fans may get frustrated with JD but his signings this FA may be even more selective. The 2020 draft really hurt this team, this years draft needs to be a home run.
