    God Ortiz looks so cooked out there. His swings never look good anymore, it's like he swings for the fences everytime and still has the power to go deep when he occasionally connects, but that's it.

    Rick Porcello to Detroit LR is a much bigger downgrade than Youkilis -> Lowell. Plus Cabrera -> Raburn is a bigger downgrade.

    Had Cabrera not gotten knocked out, I'd say Detroit would've taken the game with him and Porcello int here.

    Polanco strikes out.

    7-5 win. Just watched on NESN here in Maine.

    Not sure why Papelbon was even in the game after getting 4 outs last night, but whatever. That's 2 in a row with Beckett going tomorrow.

    We've gotten to their pen early both days. if miner lasts more than 4 i'll be annoyed.

    LOWELL!!!!!!

    There is NO excuse for him to be sitting half the time. He needs to be the everyday DH when Youkilis is back.
