    well, maybe that will mean he'll be a Giant next year. the Giants and Rosenhaus are like best friends and get deal done very quickly

    I just got home from work.....

    While I was saying Duckett, this was when I thought we had to GIVE AWAY a pick, not just slide down 26 picks... So for sliding down 26 picks, 530 to 276, or pick #67 (round 3, pick 3) we got a feature back..

    AMAZING VALUE and 1 less hole to plug in. We can still slide into the very bottom of round 1 if we NEED to to grab who we need, and to # 9 or 10 if we want to package all 3 of our picks...

    i think this is a great trade. Thomas Jones is a proven guy and we really did not give up much for him. He also has serious NFL experience and would compliment leon washington perfectly. Can i adopt Thomas Jones for next year?

    Great deal for us, we have Leon, Cedric, and now Thomas Jones. What a deal, we were all sitting here wondering what Tangini was doing and now we know. What a steal!!!

    They want to give the job to Benson because they took him so high. Also, Jones has proven to be a pain in the neck with his contract.

    The Jets are going to sign him to an extension, they're not doing this trade with the possibility of him walking after one year, no matter how good the value.

    I would be THRILLED with that. Thomas Jones, a good young stout RT in Colombo, and pick up a few more draft picks (from Chicago). Now just sign Coleman for depth, and a vet QB, and this will be a tremendous free agency period this year.
